Messiah: A Lenten Study

ANCTI 2022 Lenten Study Course Logo.

Join the Institute’s Rector, Fr. Joseph Harmon, and musician Mark Trautman as they lead us on a six-week Lenten journey through Parts II and III of Handel’s Messiah. We will listen to selected portions of Messiah as we discuss the significance of the biblical passages and musical arrangements chosen by Handel and his collaborator, Charles Jennens.

Explore the meaning of Jesus as the Lamb of God, the Suffering Servant, sin, death, the Resurrection, and the New Jerusalem in which we, as the People of God, are called to live.

Join us for all or any part of this six-week study. Please feel free to share this information and the Zoom Link below with friends and fellow parishioners.  All are welcome to participate.
