This course offers participants an opportunity to develop basic pastoral counseling skills with a particular emphasis on death, dying, and grief counseling. Its goal is to educate those who will enter ministry on the counseling techniques and resources used to support parishioners and others in our roles as priests, deacons, pastors, and spiritual advisors.
