Rector

The American National Catholic Theological Institute is under the oversight and protection of the Presiding Bishop of the American National Catholic Church who serves, ex officio, as chancellor of the Institute. The chancellor appoints the Institute’s rector and provides the overall spiritual direction of the Institute.

The rector is responsible for the administrative oversight, direction and operation of the Institute, the appointment of faculty and staff, the acceptance, review and monitoring of students admitted as seminarians, and the development of Institute policies and procedures, subject to review by the Institute’s Board of Directors.

As with all positions in the American National Catholic Church, persons holding these administrative positions are unpaid volunteers
