The prefix before each course title reflects the area of competency the course addresses and the course number, an “S” indicates a STEP course, an “A” an ANCTI course. The required areas of competency are: Systematic Theology (ST); Theology of Ministry (TM); Pastoral Theology (PT); and Spiritual Formation (SF). A course designated TM DA215 is a course that addresses the Theology of Ministry competency and is a course on Doctrine presented by the ANCTI.

INDEPENDENT STUDY

After their first year of study, seminarians may present a project of independent study for approval by the Rector. No more than one independent study project may be undertaken in a semester and no more than two independent study projects may be approved in an academic year.
