Scholarship Information

The Institute can offer a limited number of scholarships to those enrolled in one of the three Institute programs: the Lay Certificate Program, the Permanent Diaconate Program, or the Presbyteral Program. We regret that we are unable to offer scholarship assistance to others who wish to register for Institute courses.

Before applying for an Institute scholarship, individuals are should consider other sources of assistance they may be eligible to receive. Note, however, that because the ANCTI is not an accredited institution, you will likely be ineligible for federal or state financial assistance. Therefore, potential applicants are encouraged to approach their local parish and other private sources for financial assistance. Whether granted or not, that information should be included in the rationale for your application for an Institute scholarship.

Requirements and Limitations

Scholarship applicants must complete and sign the Scholarship Application form that is available as a fillable and downloadable PDF file.

The completed form should then be emailed to the ANCTI at the following address: ancti@anccmail.org.

Applications must be received no later than twenty (20) calendar days before the stated end of course registration.

Should an applicant anticipate financial assistance for an entire academic year, that should be clearly stated in the application.  Scholarship assistance for more than one academic year is exceptional, and granting a full scholarship for an entire academic program is rare. Those anticipating long-term scholarship needs should contact the Rector in writing before the start of their academic program.
